The Sarah Emma Seelye Ladies Auxiliary #1 is holding our 2024 Annual Fundraising Raffle. This year’s theme is Raggedy Ann! The prize collection includes 15″ Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls handmade by Jana Marsh, a spectacular 13″ x 13″ handmade doll quilt by Vali Reyes, the 100th Anniversary Raggedy Ann Stories book, plus 2 coloring books and 2 packs of crayons.

Everything shown in the pictures is included!

Entries are $5 each and you can purchase as many as you like using your credit card or PayPal account. Just click on the red RAGGEDY ANN BUTTON and follow the steps.

Entries may also be purchased in person from members of the Auxiliary.

The raffle drawing will be held on December 7 at the Christmas party (what a great Christmas gift!) and the lucky winner will be notified by email. Free delivery or pickup is available in the Houston, TX area. Shipping can also be arranged via USPS Priority Mail for an additional charge of $20 in the United States or $100 internationally.

The retail value of the dolls and books is over $150… and the quilt is priceless!

2024 NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT

It was a busy, productive and very enjoyable 4 days at National Encampment in Lexington, KY.  Congratulations to our new Commander-in-Chief Kevin Martin, SVC-in-C Kevin Tucker, JVC-in-C Daniel Murray, and all the 2024–2025 national officers.

Special congratulations to Department of TX & LA national officers, Dept. JVC John Vander Meulen, Assistant National Secretary for Proceedings, and Michael Lance, PDC, Aide to Assistant National Secretary for Proceedings

And finally, Extra Special Congratulations to Camp 2 Newsletter Editor Michael Lance for pulling off the Harriet Lane Hat Trick by winning an unprecedented third consecutive (and fifth overall) Marshall Hope Award for best newsletter in the nation.  Huzzah!
